We’re eager to keep working safely during this challenging time
Ladah remains committed during COVID-19, ensuring you you have the support for your personal injury & accident claims.
The coronavirus pandemic has ravaged the nation and affected the ability of many businesses to remain open, disallowing workers to continue working and earning an income. At the Ladah law firm, we empathize with these businesses and workers who have been unable to continue operations during this challenging time, as well as the thousands of individuals and businesses who have been impacted during COVID-19.
We are grateful to be able to say that our Governor has declared the work that we do essential to our community and our Firm has remained openduring the coronavirus pandemic.IOur full staff and all attorneys are continuing to work both from home and in the office If you need legal services, we want you to know that our number one priority is keeping our employees employed and making sure our clients’ needs are met.
Ladah Law: Committed During COVID-19, Committed to No Furloughs
One of our law firm’s biggest commitments during this trying time is the commitment to not furlough or downsize or reduce the hours of any of our employees, and instead have themremain working and supporting their families, even if they must do so from home. We understand the importance of not having all employees in the office right now, which is why we have continued our operations, but moved to both remote and physical operations. While we understand that there are many nonessential businesses that could not continue operations, or that could not viably maintain operations remotely, that had to furlough employees, we are committed to a long-term vision, not a decision that isthe result of a short-term hardship. Ladah has not furloughed or downsized throughout this pandemic, and all Ladah attorneys and staff are still ready and eager to assist you during this time.
Ladah Law: Here to Serve You No Matter What
Because we have not downsized or furloughed any staff, our law firm is more than capable of continuing to serve you and help you navigate your legal matter during the COVID-19 pandemic. We can offer virtual meetings, consultations, and client sessions. We are happy to set up a phone call with you or, if you prefer, we can do a video meeting using Zoom or another online conferencing platform. If you still require an in-person meeting, we are happy to host you at our office while maintaining social distancing and following all state and CDC guidelines. Rest assured, we are fully equipped to offer the same great service as we always have.
How We Can Help You During COVID-19
Our lawyers focus on personal injury claims, including car accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability cases, truck accidents, bus accidents, train accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and more. Sadly, even during the pandemic, personal injuries will continue to happen. If you have been injured–or if you are the family member of someone who has been seriously injured or killed–we can help. Our services during the time of the pandemic include:
- Free consultation. While we may be working remotely and discourage clients from meeting with our team face-to-face in person, we can still offer detailed case consultations. During your case consultation, we will ask you to provide us with as much information about your case as possible; we will consider this information, and provide you with our legal opinion regarding your best options and course of action.
- Investigation. To the extent possible, we will conduct an investigation into your case. This may mean traveling to the accident scene to take photos, and obtaining various records–such as medical records and the police report for the accident–online or over-the-phone. We can also interview any witnesses over-the-phone or by video conferencing. As a result of our investigation, we will make a determination about the cause of the accident and your injuries, negligence, and liability.
- Claims process. Insurance companies, like our law firm, are still operating during this time. We can build your claim and organize documents, file your claim, send a demand, and even review and negotiate a settlement amount during this pandemic. If there are any elements or tasks related to your claim that need to be gathered or conducted in-person, the local courts have authorized a delay in filing your case or we can delay on settling your claim until we are able to safely do this.
After an accident, the most important thing that you can do is to ensure that you get the medical treatment you need. From there, you should focus on healing and your recovery while letting the attorneys at the Ladah law firm focus on building your claim and pursuing damages on your behalf.
